Bakery Update | July 16

Thank you to everyone these past few months as we re-opened the bakery at our new location. We were honored to celebrate Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, many birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations with you. Thank you for your orders and for allowing us to bake for you, your family, and your friends.

A quick update on what to expect in the coming weeks from your friends at Sweet Indulgence.

• When will you open the bakery for walk-in service? Beginning August 5th we’ll open the bakery for walk-in purchases with store hours Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will also continue to offer curbside takeout. If you’d prefer to not come in, you are invited to park in a parking space outside the bakery and give us a call to see what is available in our case. Please note that if you are looking for particular items or for certain quantities that pre-orders with a 48-hour notice is strongly encouraged.
  

• Can I order online? We anticipate launching our online ordering platform when we open the bakery for walk-in service. This will allow you to pre-order items for pickup. Of course, for special orders or custom items we’d prefer if you call the bakery directly to place your order. Our phone number is (217) 352-2433. We encourage 48-hours notice for all orders.
  

• Can I place a special order? We have been asked if we are taking special orders for cakes and other items for pickup on days other than when we are open for pick ups. YES! We are trying to accommodate as many special requests as we can as we steadily amp up our staffing and menu offerings. This means we are trying to accommodate special orders for pickups on days/hours outside of our Wednesday-Saturday schedule. • What is your cake menu? Each week we’re adding to our menu - rolling out new items as we’re able to source the best and freshest ingredients. This menu covers all of our offerings from cake flavors to cupcakes, tarts, morning pastries, cookies, and more! Keep tabs on the bakery menu on our website as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
  

• Are you serving coffee now that you’re going to open the bakery for walk-ins? YES! We plan to launch our full espresso bar when we open our lobby.
